How your fundraising can make a difference

Cost: £10,000 - Max Appeal established a national protocol for the care of people with 22q11.2 deletion syndromes called the "Consensus Document". This materially improves the quality of life for all those with the conditions and their families by providing clinical guidance written by medical professionals with an expertise in 22q11.2 deletion.

Cost: £3,000 - Events and weekend breaks provide exciting challenges and a unique opportunity for children and teenagers to meet others with 22q deletion.

Cost: £2,000 - Our national helpline: 0300 999 2211, is manned by trained volunteers.

Cost: £1,000 - Zoom events for families to engage with each other on line every week. Virtual pub nights for the blokes, family quizzes on Sunday evenings, bake offs and ‘Have A Brew’ sessions being just a few.

Cost: £200 - A grant towards travel costs to parents who may live many hours from the hospital where their child is being treated.

Cost: £20 - A comprehensive information and support pack for every newly diagnosed person and their family
