ULTRA LONDON returns on Saturday 31 July 2021, bringing an ultra-running adventure to the capital’s doorstep.  The fully waymarked event follows the Capital Ring, a relatively unknown but spectacular 78-mile footpath around London.

Participants are challenged to complete the shorter 27.5k distance or the 55k ultra distance event.  With two distances and generous cut off times, the event is accessible to all, whether seasoned ultra-runners, walkers seeking a challenge, or first timers looking to push their limits.

LONDON 27.5 is designed to be a perfect challenge for half marathon runners looking to take the next step and embark on a new off-road experience.  ULTRA LONDON 55 takes competitors along the entire southern section of the Capital Ring, crossing through nine beautiful London Boroughs before crossing the finish line in Richmond upon Thames.

The surprisingly green and picturesque route promises participants a chance to explore London’s iconic scenery on a mix of hidden trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines and woodland around the capital.  Participants will experience stunning views & historic landmarks throughout the multi-terrain route, and excellent transport links ensure friends and family can support throughout the event and celebrate at the finish line.

Entries are now open and for a limited time only are available at a special Launch price.  Get off the beaten track and become an ULTRA LONDONER, visit ultralondon.co.uk.
