Kings College London - psychiatry study

Kings College LondonThe Psychiatric Imaging Group at Imperial College London is looking for male and female volunteers aged between 18-65 to participate in a research project. We are looking for volunteers who are carriers of 22q11 deletion.

The project is studying how natural brain chemicals we all have (particularly one called dopamine) function in healthy people, and people with brain or mental illness or at high risk for developing mental illness. This is not a treatment trial and participation in the project will not help directly, but we hope that it will help us understand the causes of some mental illnesses and develop treatments.

The project involves an interview and two types of brain scan. We will pay for your expenses and the time you spend with us.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr Maria Rogdaki; e-mail maria.rogdaki@kcl.ac.uk.

Many thanks for your help!
