On Wednesday 13 April, everything is booked for cycle the distance from Brighton to St Neots, via Blackfriars, using two exercise bikes. It will be at Blackfriars station near the entrance, by the underground, from 08.00 to 18.00, with the aim of cycling the 122 miles and collecting donations from passengers too. If we make it half way we will will donate an additional 387 to the pot, and if we can complete the whole distance this will be topped up to 700 figures chosen to reflect our new units coming into service.

Performance donation for every train which arrives right time during the week we will donate 10p to both charities. This will be advertised next week and a running total provided during the 11 - 17 April

Station unit raffle I've designed a raffle based on train unit numbers, which station teams can use with passengers. In return for a 1 donation, passengers get the chance to go into a local draw to win a free journey across our services. I've had one take so far and we have a staff brief going out soon to encourage more.

On Thursday 14 April, I have found a pub local to London Bridge to offer some space for free, for a staff pub quiz. This runs 17.30-19.30 at The Miller pub (96 Snowsfields Road, London Bridge, London, SE1 3SS). I'm looking for teams of four, with a 3 donation per person requested.

We've had two great prizes donated by football clubs on our network: a signed Luton Town FC football shirt, as well as a signed Stevenage FC shirt, signed football and four tickets to the match against AFC Wimbledon on 30 April. I will be running two silent auctions: one for the Luton shirt and the other for the Stevenage goodies, with these going to the highest bidder by the Thursday.

During the week we will also have a staff raffle with prizes including free tickets to events. Still waiting final confirmation on the donations we have and will then be looking for people to sell tickets across the network.
